Gary Farr - Strange Fruit

(CBS S64138 UK LP 1970)

 

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve, & comes with its original CBS company paper inner sleeve - which is in very nice condition. 

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has orange CBS labels. It has 1st press A1/ B1 matrix stampers.

A wonderful Singer-Songwriter/ Acid Folk LP. Gary is backed by Mighty Baby with Richard Thompson on guitar.

 

Sleeve: There are two sticker tears on the front. There is a fair amount of rubbing wear to the top & bottom edges also. VG- condition.

Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and a couple of light marks. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays vg+ to near excellent, & excellent in some places. There are a few light clicks on one track. Otherwise some light crackle in a very few places.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
