Label: St. Clair # STC-2222. Label is yellow with black text.
NOTE: Originally known as the Fantastic Dee-Jays, The SWAMP RATS were Pittsburgh’s top punk band. They specialized in doing really wild covers of some of the classic songs of the era. Members included Bob Hocko on vocals, Dick Newton (guitar), Denny Nicholson (bass), Greg Dettore (drums).
Year: 1966
Condition: Nice VG with most of original gloss. Has some minor scuffs that produce a bit of minor surface noise, but no serious marks and the overall listening experience is enjoyable. Labels are defaced on both sides when someone (presumably the original owner or her little brother) got creative with a ballpoint pen and scribbled (see photos).
A decent playing copy of a great tune/performance that very seldom shows up. Please listen to the sound clip to judge the sound on which you are bidding. It has not been modified in any manner.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic first pressing from 1966. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
