About This Record. Here's another cool rare slab of vinyl from my record vault, an original USA copy of Jimi Hendrix's second LP entitled Axis Bold as Love, first USA pressing on steamboat tri-color Reprise records complete with original innersleeve. Cover has some problems (tape removal marks and one major corner ding/damage), but vinyl plays STRONG VG with many VG+ moments and lots of EX moments, but there is some background noise between tracks and lots of noticeable paper marks and light stylus marks! Please see Details below and CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading Cover/Vinyl of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are now taking care of my vinyl thought about our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And two plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Cover Condition: Good. There is tape removal damage along all seams, although the spine and seams are perfectly intact but for some light shelf wear. Some tears on the front cover at 10 o'clock from tape removal and light corner wear, medium bad damage to top left corner in middle of gatefold cover (see photo #3). Still not so bad Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: STRONG VG. Plays mainly EX-/better but has some background noise between tracks, and has a few short light stylus marks and lots of noticeable paper marks but plays great with just a few pops and nothing major other than the somewhat noticeable background noise between most tracks. This was my placehold not-such-a-bad-player copy of this original Hendrix LP until I found one recently that was in slightly better condition.
Labels: Excellent Plus labels (Please see photos of all labels)
Inserts: Comes with original Reprise Records factory paper innersleeve, but also comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach! OH my gosh!!.
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I will ship by any method you want. But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase by requesting insurance, or expensive International Priority Mail, then please understand the record will be shipped at your own risk and not mine. I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..
