Description
Groundhogs: "Live At Leeds" 1971, USA/United Artists BR-A/BR-B. Disc has a few very light sleeve marks, it plays M-, it gets an EX grade. Has a thick plain white sleeve as issued. This very rare demo LP was some sort of a half-baked effort by United Artists to get the Groundhogs on the airwaves in the States. It never had a cover, and they didn't print any labels for the LP, so staff members had to sit down and fill the info in with pens (every one is a bit different, they are indeed all handwritten!). Supposedly only a couple of hundred were pressed. The concert was recorded at Leeds University in Great Britain in February 1971, a gig they opened for The Rolling Stones. Songs are "Cherry Red", "Garden", "Split Pt.1", "Groundhog Blues", and "Eccentric Man". Not a bootleg or a counterfeit edition, this is definitely the real thing. Sound quality is perfect of course; despite it's low-profile appearance, this is indeed an official radio show!

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
