Description
Complete & original 1st UK press of The Who - Live At Leeds, Black Print Graphreaks 12 insert folder set, from May 1970.
It contained a poster and 11 facsimilés of various memorabilia which comprise: a photo of the band from the My Generation photoshoot, handwritten lyrics to the "Listening to You" chorus from Tommy, typewritten lyrics to "My Generation" (with hand written notes), a receipt for smoke bombs, a rejection letter from EMI, and the early black "Maximum R&B" poster showing Pete Townshend windmilling his Rickenbacker & a copy of the contract for The Who to play at the Woodstock Festival.

Insert 3: The Small 'DELIVERY NOTE' insert (thin 'typewriter' paper, later ones are thicker normal paper);
Insert 4: The 'MY GENERATION LYRICS' typed insert (with handwritten annotations and THREE handwritten '*' - stars - two on the right & 1 on the left, later ones only have two);
Insert 5: The Small 'NOTICE' Insert ('hole punched' to the left, later ones aren’t);
Insert 6: The 'NEW ACTION LTD' insert (folded along the central line, later ones are NOT);
Insert 7: The 'HIGH NUMBERS' typed payment insert (made in the CORRECT Yellow Colour, later ones aren’t, and folded along the central line, later ones aren’t);
Insert 8: The 'PREMIER TALENT ASSOCIATES' Contract Insert (made in the CORRECT Yellow Colour, later ones aren’t);
Insert 9: The 'EMI RECORDS' correspondence insert (made on CORRECT thinner paper, later ones are thicker);
Insert 10: The 'MARQUEE CLUB' payments insert ('hole punched' to the left, later ones aren’t);
Insert 11: The Small 'PICTURE OF THE WHO' photograph insert (every face & eyes of EVERY Who member are FULLY visible and 100% clear, later ones were badly printed, much darker, and lack detail);
Insert 12: The 'GUITAR OVERHEAD' insert (with 'handwritten text' on the reverse. The writing is PERFECT in COLOUR & DETAIL and most importantly in the EXACT shade of 'biro blue' and looks absolutely EXACT. All later ones are obviously (& badly!) printed in black).
CONDITION:
The Disc
NEAR MINT! Deep-sheen glossy and clean, both sides have no marks or wear visible in both good natural light and under direct strong halogen spotlight. The audio playback is superb. Quiet run-ins to both sides, between tracks and in soft passages. No obtrusive pops, repeat clicks and clearly no skips or sticks in this superior condition. It's a fantastic listen! The disc sits completely flat on the turntable and does not have any warping or dishing. The labels are clean and unworn at the centre hole.
The Sleeve
The brown cardboard 'Graphreaks' designed gatefold sleeve with black lettering on the front and on the right side of the inner gatefold has general signs of handling and storage. No splits, tears, or pen. VERY GOOD!
The Inner
The original white poly-lined inner sleeve is clean of stains, writing, rips & splits Light discolouration. EXCELLENT!
The Poster
The original 1st version poster is sharp at the edges and clean and flat without creasing throughout. No pen, no pin marks, no issues. NEAR MINT!
The Inserts
The 11 other inserts have light signs of handling. EXCELLENT!
