NM= a nearly perfect record.
VG++= record surfaces may have signs that it was rarely played or handled by a previous owner that took extremely good care of it. Record surfaces may show very minimal amount of surface scuffing and/or scratching that does not affect audio quality.
VG+= record shows sign that it was played but handled by a previous owner. Record surfaces may show signs of wear or may have scuffs and/or scratches but do not affect the audio quality.
VG= surface noise may be evident upon playing, but will not overpower the music. Light scratching will be noticeable that might or will affect the sound. Many times, the record will play through with no skipping or minimal skipping.
