Back in 1994, punk rockers Green Day released their third album. It was also their first on a major label (Reprise Records). This year marks the TWENTY FIFTH anniversary of that groundbreaking smash hit album! And to help celebrate that punk pop classic, we have up for grabs today a special limited edition copy of the album on picture disc!
'Dookie' is surely one of the best selling albums of the 90s. It has sold over TWENTY MILLION copies worldwide since its release! It gave us FIVE big hits: "Longview", "Welcome to Paradise", "Basket Case", "When I Come Around", and "She". The album made mega stars out of the three band members, and is a true 90s classic that won't soon be forgotten!
This picture disc is still sealed, and never opened or played! Their are no song titles on the record itself. There is a hype sticker (with song titles and credits) on the outside of the heavy plastic sleeve that this comes in. Hard to believe it's been 25 years, but it is! A great piece of music memorabilia to own, with that crazy artwork from the cover (look for Ozzy and Angus Young from AC/DC on it!), on the A side, and great pics of Billie Joe, Tre', and Mike on the back B side!
