Description
The Beatles 'Please Please Me' Parlophone Record Single Rare Second Mother First Pressing with Stamper 'T'.
Although this record can be described as 'well played' and has surface scruffs and minor scratches, it still plays very well. The unique feature here is this record (side one) is among the first pressings of the second 'Mother' in the record's impressive overall production run with both sides having the same stamper 'T' imprinted in the run off area. This letter signifies stamper number 9 was used on each side. Interestingly, side two used original Mother #1. That's something I cannot explain as there should have been hundreds of stampers made from the original Mothers. I think this makes this record very unique indeed.
I don't have the original sleeve so I'm adding another Parlophone label sleeve for good measure.
Record has been well played over the years so this is not a pristine copy but is still in very good condition. This rare pressing can be yours if you are the winning bidder.
