Round Record's 'GRATEFUL DEAD: For Dead Heads'  (Rare 1975 10-track fan club-only, promo-only, mail order-only DJ promotional only vinyl EP compilation album, featuring tracks that got the best reaction from airplay including tracks from Grateful Dead, Garcia, Robert Hunter, Old& In The Way and Keith & Donna, custom picture sleeve with 'For Dead Heads' text on the front and track listing on the back

These are 2 out of 3 disc samplers sent out by Round Records (3) featuring alternate cuts than those released on album (all except Old & In The Way). The other 2 discs feature Old & In The Way b/w a cut from Keith* & Donna* - Keith & Donna on SMP 02, and Jerry Garcia from his album Jerry Garcia - Garcia b/w Robert Hunter from Robert Hunter - Tales Of The Great Rum Runners (no cat # but presumably sampler #1).

There are some surface marks and abrasions, mostly light and superficial, although some may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters)

(b)          This EP set comes with BOTH original inserts (please see above for details), one of which in duplicate

(c)           The EP set also comes with the original stamped and labeled mailer (envelope), torn and tattered but mostly complete; the addressee of the package may or may not have been  ►Richard Pratt, the legendary Jazz drummer.

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
