Description
Up for auction is an unusual white label promo EP by the Grateful Dead from the Europe 72 album on the Warner Brothers Record Label (WB PRO 544 (s40,359)). The record is a 7 inch EP inside a red fold out sleeve. The front cover has the word 'THE' on it. When you open the cover the word 'DEAD' appears. The inside of the sleeve, when it is completely unfolded, has excerpts of reviews from different concerts during the Europe 72 tour. When folded up the sleeve measures aproximately 9 inches x 9 inches. When fully opened up the sleeve measures approximately 17.5" x 17.5".
The outer sleeve does have a few issues. The front cover has some fading of the red color, possibly from being exposed to the sun for a period of time. The spine has wear from being opened and closed. The is some wear on the corners and some areas have creases in them. Still the sleeve is very clean (no stains) and there is little record wear showing through.
The EP is in excellent shape. It is very clean and shiny with no scratches that I can see. The label is also in excellent condition, very clean and intact. No writing or stains on the label and no rips or tears.
I do not have a turntable so I don't know if there are any skips.

Side 1 - Ramble on Rose (6:09), Side 2 - Jack Straw (4:46) and Mr Charlie (3:40)
