Description

Original UK stereo LP, release date 1968 on the Warner Bros label, catalogue number: WS1749 Matrix nos: side1) WS1749A-1*G STEREO side 2) WS1749B-1*G STEREO Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse. The rear cover is perfect, there is no wear to any of the edges and no splaying of the open edge. There is just the faintest of a ‘ring’ mark on the front cover, which is only noticeable when inclined towards bright light. There is a small wear mark on the front near the bottom edge approximately 1/8th inch by ¼ inch in size – see close-up photo. Apart from these two minor blemishes, this is a PERFECT cover. The spine is perfect, with perfect print. The inner sleeve is the original, advertising Warner records – see photo. The two labels each have approx 10 to 12 light spindle marks. The record plays VIRTUALLY FAULTLESSLY – no more than 3 or 4 very faint crackles on the entire album, and no loud or annoying clicks or pops at all – THIS IS A NEAR PERFECT SOUNDING ALBUM – even though it has been played it is as near to MINT as it gets. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection. Track list: that’s it for the other one – a) cryptical envelopement b) quadlibet for tenderfeet c) the faster we go the rounder we get, new potatoe caboose, born cross-eyed/ alligator, caution (do not stop on the tracks).
