Issue : UK 1st PRESS FACTORY SAMPLE
This is an exceptionally rare Factory Sample, UK 1st Press of ‘Around Grapefruit’ by Grapefruit. This earliest press is complete with the Factory Sample label sticker, the rare and very earliest 1G/1G Mothers and stampers, the original A-1G / B-1G matrix and the laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is exceptionally glossy, all tracks are superb. It shows only the very slightest sign of play, just couple of wispy marks but these certainly have no affect, the sound is sensantional. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation - the original complete sound. The black Stateside label is bold, bright and completely clean. The black is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear. The Factory Sample sticker is sealed and clean. The vinyl is complete with the original plain white inner sleeve.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition. The picture is sharp and the colours are bright. There is some wear on the bottom edge and a little corner wear. The back of the sleeve has a little discolouration but is still very bright. The text is sharp and the pictures are clear. The whole sleeve is solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text.
