Grand Funk Railroad (also known as Grand Funk) is an American rock band that was highly popular during the 1970s. Grand Funk Railroad toured constantly to packed arenas worldwide. A popular take on the band during its heyday was that, although the critics hated them, audiences loved them. The band's name is a play on words of the Grand Trunk Railroad, a railroad line that ran through the band's home town of Flint, Michigan.

Shinin' On is the eighth album by Grand Funk Railroad, released in 1974. Although not as successful as its predecessor, We're an American Band. It peaked at No. 5 in the US and was certified gold. The original cover was done in bi-visual 3-D and included the required blue and red lense glasses to view it. The title song was featured in The Simpsons' 7th season episode "  Homerpalooza".

Original 1974 pressing on Capitol Records. Not a re-issue, No barcode. This LP is STILL SEALED in it's original shrinkwrap. There are no punch holes or cut-outs. The corners are sharp. The shrink is tight. It has the rare "hype" sticker on the front shrink, listing songs, poster, etc. The 3-D glasses are still intact. It will have the original 3-D poster inside and the custom labels on the record. The colors are vibrant and there is no wear to the cover. This LP looks like it just came from the store!!! Very hard to find a beautiful STILL SEALED copy of this collectible LP, without a punch hole or cut-out mark. Record is in truly MINT condition.
