Description

Original UK black & rainbow Capitol/EMI label stereo press LP, with the earliest A-6 matrices and 1- stampers. This is one of the first rainbow labels which were issued from Dec 1968/Jan 1969!   The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and laminate creasing on the front cover. The spine is worn, but intact and fully readable, the company inner is intact in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint sleeve removal hairlines & scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves, overall still a really great loud & punchy listen!!   The matrix nos. are; ST1-2984, A-6 stamper 1-R, ST2-2984 A-6 stamper 1-A. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968/9 UK stereo issue of this album!!

All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!!    All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
