** Gorgeous ** Numbered U.S. Beatles White Album!

This is an excellent example of the Beatles’ classic White Album, Apple SWBO-101. It includes a superb set of first-press discs, the 4 individual Beatle portraits on heavy-stock paper, and the fold-out poster, all housed in a drop-dead gorgeous cover numbered A1708646.

Sleeve
- Beautiful! Glossy, virginal white and nearly flawless! - Under bright light, I picked out a couple otherwise-invisible ¼” spots, and if you squint, it’s perhaps slightly yellowed toward the edges, but it takes conscious effort to pick these out.
- Very minimal disc impression & rub wear.
- All seams are intact with only minor shelf wear.
- Spine is strong and unbroken inside & out; all text is clearly readable.
- Inside is lovely; bears “SWBO 101” text only (no Apple copyright). Centerfold slick is unbroken.
- Corners show only trivial paper wear & bumping.
- Opening edges are sharp and unfeathered.
- A Fabulous, hard-to-beat cover!

Vinyl Visually (viewed under a high-intensity lamp)
- Clean & lovely 1st-press labels (Capitol logo on sliced-apple sides). Under raking light, a couple of spindle marks on Side 2 and maybe one on Side 4, but hard to tell for sure. None detectable on the other sides.
- Proper titles for all tracks (Continuing Story, Ob-la-di, etc.)
- Both discs are banded pressings.
- Both discs appear NM. One small scuff and a few hairlines on Side 1; the others are virtually flawless.
- A visually excellent set!

Critical Vinyl Play-grade (through headphones)
- Music throughout is clear, bright, and undistorted, with no apparent groovewear.
- Disc 1: Very minor background noise between tracks on Side 1 and the early part of Side 2, hardly worth mentioning. Later part of Side 2 plays virtually mint.
- Disc 2: Both sides play easy NM; no critical comment at all.
- A thrilling listen!

Poster & Pics
- The poster is intact, smooth and glossy, with only minor handling marks. A couple of the folds are splitting up to about 4”.
- The 4 classic Beatle portraits are heavy stock, with rich, vibrant color; no pinholes, writing or tape stains. The GH portrait has some cellotape on the back corners (doesn’t affect the front surface) and a tiny chip is missing from the right-side border (only) of PM.

Original-appearing paper sleeves are included, although the discs are in new poly sleeve liners.
