Description
On offer is an original copy of the Golden Cups picture sleeve GS 7" single, Love Is My Life b/w Do You Know I Love You.
Capitol Japan CP-1011 from 1967
Though they recorded a wide range of material, Yokohama's Golden Cups at their best (like the A-side here) were the wildest and rawest of all the 60s Japanese groups.
The A-side is a brilliant fuzzed out rocker, loosely based on Baby Please Don't Go.
The flip is softer with some cool call-and-response vocals.
This was the band's second single.
It's apeared on various compilations (Pebbles, etc) over the years..
Fans of Japanese GS (Group Sounds) - Spiders, Tigers, Bunnys, Jaguars, etc. will love this record.
Record and sleeve are in excellent condition. There is slight age speckling on the sleeve.
