Elvis Presley with Scotty & Bill – “Baby Let’s Play House” b/w “I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone” on RCA Victor. This is an early RCA reissue of the legendary Sun 217 single that helped launch the King’s career and spread rock ’n’ roll from Memphis to the world.
Condition: Vinyl shows surface wear and scuffs from regular play. Labels show age with some discoloration and wear (see photos). Record still plays through and sounds great! with that raw 1950s rockabilly energy.
This copy comes from the private collection of a Detroit disc jockey who spun it for teens in the late ’50s and early ’60s, bringing Elvis’s sound directly to local dances and radio sets. There are telltale signs of DJ use—such as light tape reinforcement on high-wear areas and faintly etched year markings.
