MEGA-RARE, almost impossible to find GINO MARINACCI's definitive holy grail and massive record from his studio Library production. This is one of the hottest albums from RRC label and for sure among the rarest. Original very 1st pressing with the stunning picture sleeve cover 'PREMIO INTERNAZIONALE ARMSTRONG 1971' contest won by Gino Marinacci as Italian best Jazz player of the year (71). More common sleeve version is the brown one with dolls on front. This copy features an original maestro inscription on front with his signature. An incredible session featuring the top Italian Jazz line-up of the period: among others the 3 I MARC 4's Maurizio Majorana on bass, Antonello Vannucchi at organ and electric piano, Roberto Podio drums and percussions, Giovanni Tommaso, Angelo Baroncini and Enzo Grillini guitars, Dino Piana and more expert jazzmen and session players. The true pinnacle of Gino Marinacci's discography along with the insane AMICO FLAUTO and few others, produced by Aldo Sinesio and recorded at the historical Piero Umiliani's SOUND WORK SHOP studios. Music is literally INSANE and by far the most stylish and groovy Jazz-Funk ever made in Italy. Maestro Marinacci like a Jazz artisan here melted all the modern vibes of the time, especially Pop and Rock music, with Jazz. The result is a unique sound: crazy bastard Hip Hop Jazz grooves with perfect Bboy samples / Jazz-Funk beats and Fusion with driving drums and owerpowering basslines throughout / Modal and smoothy Jazz numbers / totally killer Fender Rhodes Funk with stunning horns orchestra / catching drum breaks with dreamy driven patterns always in perfect harmony with bass and guitar / Lounge and Modern Jazz vibes / Gino Marinacci's mental flutes overlaps with bass flute prevalence accompained by an extraordinary instrumentalist studio orchestra / hot vibes with a superior sound technique and oustanding arrangements.
