An ORIGINAL U.S. Pressing from (1955) on the seminal West Coast Jazz label; great session played live and recorded on December 14, 1954 in San Diego, California. THIS session was the last Gerry Mulligan Quartet appearance for some time to come....
Jazz personel Red Mitchell, Chico Hamilton on drums, Zoot Zims on tenor sax, and a iconic William Claxton photo for its cover, it does get any better than this or does it? A slow, deep base, baritone sax groove plays through out..

Vinyl:. SIDE 1 NEAR MINT / SIDE 2 VG++ w/ superficial scuff line over track two,on Side one - does NOT seem feelable! clean bright labels; perhaps one spindle mark noted under lights...plays with some slight/subtle original pressing noise at times - Double sided DEEP GROOVE pressing.
Play-grade note: superficial scuff line does NOT sound out on my playback on my system; A VERY enjoyable session!!!!!!!
COVER : VG+ (clean!! Tight seams but dust show some minor shelf wear on bottom edge; straight spine; sm. catalogue label on spine ; otherwise very nice indeed.
