George Harrison - 'You / World Of Stone'. R 6007.
George Harrison 1975 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'You / World Of Stone' 7" single. Released on the 12th September 1975, and offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT+ condition.
These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Issued on the custom Apple Records label both sides state: 'DEMO RECORD NOT FOR RESALE'. The vinyl comes housed within the original picture sleeve cover also in wonderful EXCELLENT+ condition. A truly great example of this single in the rare DEMO format.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. 7YCE 21769-1U 1 G A PORKY PRIME CUT
Side 2. 7YCE 21777-1U 1 G PECKO
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition. Both sides play through with NO problems and sound truly wonderful. STUNNING CONDITION.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. PERFECT.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition.'SUM 3219' written neatly on the rear internal flap (see picture).
