Description

This sale is for a copy of "Encore Of Golden Hits" by The Platters. This is from 1960 (1st pressing) on Mercury SR-60243 (black label). This is in beautiful condition & is a top copy for collectors. The songs are "The Great Pretender", "Twilight Time", "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", "The Magic Touch", "Enchanted", "One In A Million", "My Prayer", "Only You", "Remember When", "My Dream", "Heaven On Earth" & "I'm Sorry".

Condition

  • Cover : The cover is in NM- condition with a staple hole near the upper left corner from a price tag, a tiny light rub on 3 corner tips & some very light browning on the back from age but otherwise this looks new. *****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.


  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in NM condition on both sides.

    • Labels : The labels are in NM- condition with a small faint trail on each side. This was probably only played one very carefully.
