This is the original UK LP by GENTLE GIANT, ACQUIRING THE TASTE, 1971 on the VERTIGO SWIRL label 6360 041
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- 6360041 1Y#2 , Side 2:- 6360041 3 #2Y
Stampers are, Side 1:- 11 4, Side 2:- 1 1 5
The original 1971 UK matt finished gatefold cover is in a VG+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colours, superb!!. The lovely solid broad spine shows only very light wear, mainly to the corners. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
The vinyl is in a strong VG+++ / EX condition, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++, only a hint of crackle at the start of the 1st track, soon disappers. The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity *, amazing Stereo sound!!!! *, stunning clear bright sound. The quality of this 1971 UK Stereo Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!!
The original VERTIGO SWIRL label's are in ** MINT- ** condition!!!, beautifully clean and factory fresh!, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear!, beautiful labels
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1971 UK polythene lined VERIGO SWIRL inner sleeve and in EX+ condition!, clean, , their no unwanted writing and no seam splits. Please see my picture close up of the back of the inner sleeve, correctly numbered 0371 11, 11th March 1971
