At the time of this release South Africa's apartheid policy and state of emergency meant the censorship of anything deemed unacceptable, including song lyrics.

The B-side shows similar markings to the images in the above article, albeit with an added label, a 'C' with the date 1983-10-14. Possibly indicating the whole track is (C)ensored due to the interpretation of the B-side lyrics.
