This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING DEMO PROMO - PROG / PSYCH - single by GENESIS from 1972, ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING PROMO COPY !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - PROG / PSYCH - PROMO single that RARELY comes up for sale !!! This is THE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING with the STAMPED MATRICES : CB 181 A-3U and CB 181 B-1U, and 1G / 1G mother stampers and the serrated edges around the labels !!! This is one of the HOLLY GRAILS for GENESIS COLLECTORS !!!
The tracks are: HAPPY THE MAN / SEVEN STONES.
The single came out on THE FAMOUS CHARISMA LABEL RECORDS catalogue number CB. 181.
The vinyl has an edge crack which I showed in the photos, it does not affect play too much on side 1 and only slighly on side 2 as you can hear from the sound clip I provided, apart from that it is in EX condition and comes in an old white die cut sleeve !!!
