UK ORIGINAL ORANGE CBS LABEL HEAVY VINYL LP IN LAMINATED SHOREPAK SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL CBS INNER.
Mighty Baby and Richard Thompson back Farr on his post-'60s beat boom album that saw him tangle with prog, psych-folk-rock...later he ended up in Muscle Shoals for a bit of soul-rock. A mixed-bag throughout, the album hints at The Band's early homespun sound and elements of the Stones' Exile On Main Street era, with a densely produced loose-but-funky-bluesy-folk that hints at psychedelia. The sound of the album is as good as anything else in the 1970s genre, and we'd recommend it to fans of Mighty Baby, early Fairport Convention, alongside the likes of Roger Morris, Nigel Mazlyn Jones and Meic Stevens.
