Record Condition: NM-, side with writing is actually a signal tone while the side with a blank white label has the song

In 1975 Island Records was compiling a best of LP of the Meters' Josie material (which came out under the name "Cissy Strut") and as part of that effort the compiler had several of their heaviest tunes cut to 7" as test presses to gauge dancefloor reaction, including the mighty "Cardova" which is an LP-only track and as far as I know only exists on 45 as this test press! I had actually gotten two of these from the ex-label exec and sold the other one a couple years back.
Note:  Check my other auctions this week for hundreds of 45s, nearly all with soundclips and a low start price (I never use reserves). Despite recent USPS price increases, I am keeping shipping rates extra low for international packages! $12 for 1-3 45s, and 4 or more 45s is just $19, no matter how many you win. For domestic customers, shipping is just $3.50 no matter how many you win! Also, you can combine shipping with any 45s on my Discogs page (same seller name).

Grading: I grade conservatively on a scale of NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.

PAYMENT TERMS: I accept Paypal. Payment should be made within seven days of auction's close. I will send you an invoice at the end of the auction. If you have won more than one item please wait for my invoice or you may not get the correct shipping total.


SHIPPING TERMS:
The price for shipping within the US is $3.50, no matter how many 45s you win! International first class shipping for 1 to 3 45s is $12. More than 3 45s costs $19, no matter how many you win! Canada is $8 for 1 to 3 45s, $11 for 4 or more. If you win multiple items please wait for my invoice in case the ebay shipping calculator is incorrect. Please don't make separate payments for multiple items won as this causes confusion in processing your order. Please make sure the address you have on file with eBay is the address you want me to ship to. I ship within one business day of payment. All records are shipped using strong, high quality mailers and 2 stiffeners. For very expensive orders, it may be necessary to ship by priority or express mail with tracking.
