Description

Beat the Boots Box II (Rhino Foo-eee RI-70372, July or June 16 1992) is a collection of bootleg recordings by Frank Zappa which were originally distributed illegally but were released officially by Rhino Entertainment in 1992. The recordings are on LP . The set contains material from between 1968 and 1978, including Swiss Cheese / Fire! which documents a famous 1971 concert at a casino in Montreux where the venue burned down, inspiring the lyrics of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water".

 Box includes humongus scrapbook collecting rare Zappa memorabilia and original album art, plus a bodacvious black beret with a Beat The Boots pin!

The LPs are all MINT, both covers and vinyl. They were played once when I purchased this in 1986. The tray that slides in the box has one seam split on the bottom right corner. The box itself is MINT, as are the beret, artwork and Zappa pin.
