Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several independent 1950's LA-area labels that I'm running this week. I apologize if you were looking for the Rockabilly auction. Due to some upcoming travel and time restraints, I've had to change the order of the auctions. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Duke Records and a Chess/Checker/Excello auction later in October.
Here's the info on this item:

Release: Ike Turner and His Orchestra - Cuban Get Away / Go To It

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1952

Notes: Early single by Turner, hard to find original pressing.  Two blazing instrumentals here.  These are almost proto-surf tracks. Electric guitar with subtle percussion.  Really interesting tracks and both are strongly worth hearing.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl itself is in great shape, very clean with just a couple of tiny hairlines. When held in the light, though, you can see some pressing bubbles and "waviness". Does not affect play. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears, just the tiniest bit of ring scuffing.  I don't downgrade for pressing defects, but if you do, please be aware. See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.

Sleeve Condition: VG, old style sleeve is nice overall but does have some minor bends and wrinkles.  No tears or splits though.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
