CONDITION (VINYL/COVER). Vinyl is super clean with a deep dark sheen. Played all of this today. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is clean, clear, vibrant and loud throughout. Pretty much silence between the tracks. Background sound in intro to side 1 that goes once music kicks in and does not re-appear. Cover is in very clean condition. It has minimal edge and corner-wear and only light creasing. Great shape retained to fully legible spine- you can still see the difference where the ends have been narrowed at the time of manufacture. Immaculately clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
I SELL WORLDWIDE USING EBAYS GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I am just starting to sell off my personal Blues and Folk record collection, built up over 40 years and including many records from Blue Horizon, Blue Liberty, Island etc.
