Beethoven: Symphony No.3 in E flat major, op.55 "Eroica"
mega-rare white label TESTPRESS vinyl LP in perfect unplayed, mint condition !!
rare German first press WHITE LABEL TESTPRESSING vinyl LP which features the "1953 Original Sound Recording" of Furtwangler's famous Eroica performance with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra as originally released with catalognumber ALP-1060. On side 2 it also includes Furtwangler's famous 1956 Leonore Overtures with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as orginally released with catalognumber ALP-1324.
This testpressing includes the A4 "Label Copy" sheet with all recording information - please see photos. The sheet, white sample innersleeve with blue stamp "MUSTER - ZU IHER INFORMATION and vinyl all AS NEW in perfect UNPLAYED, MINT condition. On the label it states "UNVERKAUFLICHE MUSTERPLATTE" which translates into "SAMPLE COPY - NOT FOR SALE" ... only a handful of copies were made for testing purpose and given away to only a few... Famous performances by Furtwangler recorded here with true audiophile soundquality - these are the original mono recordings and not the fake stereo versions.
