Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE original George Clements/Howard Craft mastered Pitman first pressing from 1974 on Westbound with gatefold cover and Pedro Bell artwork!!! LP side 1 is just barely VG with some light scuffs and side 2 is a nice VG with some light paper scuffs. Cover is VG with a tiny top left hand corner promo clip. This was funk and rock BOTH at their absolute best. Mind-bending guitar solos delivered with a hard, tight groove. No one has ever done it as well ever since. No one. I don't fawn over many LPs but this is an album upon which will unashamedly heap praise. Red Hot Momma and the title track alone are both worth the price of admission on their own but every track is so far ahead of its time and in the groove that there's not a bum track on the album. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
