FREE - TONS OF SOBS - UK 1st Press 1969 - Pink Bullseye Island Label - EX/VG+.
Very rare original early UK (1969) pressing of the classic debut “Tons Of Sobs” by Free.
Matrix numbers are:
ILPS+9089+A2
ILPS+9089+B2

The vinyl has some very light surface marks/paper scuffs when viewed under strong light. It is fully play tested and plays great throughout with wonderfully clear audio throughout. The tiniest amount of crackle (and I genuinely mean tiny) on run ins only. Genuinely barely any background noise at all. Visually grades as EX- but plays EX+
The Matt gatefold sleeve has ledge wear (including to the spine) and some light general handling wear. Also 4 small names written inside the gatefold. No major issue and grades as VG to VG+ (see photos)
Plain paper inner is VG with some discolouration.
Overall this is a superb sounding original 1st press with beautifully clear audio throughout!
