Side 2 : .
An Absolutely Outstanding Album by probably one of the greatest British Rock/Blues Bands of the sixties, FREE, with strong Blues influence from the highly talented Paul Rogers, Paul Kossoff, unfortunately taken before his time, the great Simon Kirke and Andy Fraser. Recorded and released in 1969, and must be one of the greatest 60's "Rock and Blues" Albums of all time. British Rock/Blues at its Finest.
A Very Rare Record. The record is in excellent condition, on the PINK ISLAND Label. The labels are the early course rich PINK with the White "i" and the deep grooved inner ring of the earliest pressings. Both sides show no little signs of any spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre hole. (See photos.)
The Vinyl is exceptionally clean, nice solid 60's Vinyl and the Record plays extremely well, the sound quality is excellent. The surface of the record is excellent and is free from surface marks, scratches and scuffs, some slight feint surface marks only noticeable under srtong light, only to be expected ot this age, (record has been played). Some light hiss only on lead ins to each side and the very quiet tracks, still a gives a superb sound quality. Lovely Nice Rich High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. All round very good record.
This is a very good example of one of FREE's finest albums and is a true collectors classic.
The Single Sleeve is in excellent condition. This is the very delcate early matt card sleeve which is non laminated Island and many were succeptable to wear and heavy staining. There are No creases, tears, dirty marks or rips on the sleeve. All the outer edges are sharp and totally intact and in very good order with only small signs of edge wear or creasing. The corners are also in excellent order with very little signs of wear, dents or creases. The spine is absolutely rigid and the text on the spine is totally intact, there is very little wear to the spine despite the delicate paper of the cover, the opening edges to the sleeve are sharp and crease free. Very slight gum residue and tiny label mark on rear of sleeve below ILPS ref, does not detract from overall condition, otherwise totally perfect. Lovely example of this rare classic record and sleeve.
Record comes complete with the original polythene lined inner paper sleeve
