Description

VARIOUS - FREAK OUT AT THE FACSIMILE FACTORY A compendium of de Wolfe music library recordings - 1966-69. Tenth Planet Records TP036 UK Mono LP 1998. ORIGINAL HAND NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION (489 of 1000) 180 GRAM VIRGIN VINYL PRESSING. Condition: EX+/EX+(looks and sounds perfect and unplayed).

The second compilation from the biggest, baddest and best library music label issued in 1998 (and long deleted as a very small Tenth Planet pressing) so the emphasis is on freakbeat psych sixties beats in vocal and instrumental versions! You get a whole range of cool dark pop psychedelic sound track stuff - superb fuzz guitar funk, funky-as-hell beats, sitar grooves and even early analogue electronic synthesizer. Includes ALL previously un-released music including cues used on such surreal shows as Monty Python's Flying Circus. Cool library artwork by Phil Smee!

Tracklist:

Side One: 1. I Am the Man - The Lemon Dips 2. March Of The Defiant Ones - London Studio Group 3. Highway Song - The Cool 4. Shot In The Arm - Tilsley Orchestra 5. We Met In December - The Cool 6. Eye Of Horus - Electronic Sounds 7. Poor Lonely Woman - The Lemon Dips 8. Skid Track - Electronic Sounds.

Side Two: 9. Who's Gonna Buy - The Lemon Dips 10. Pageing Sullivan - London Studio Group [Yes, with Jimmy Page & Big Jim Sullivan !!] 11. Guitar Suspense - Electronic Sounds 12. Unpack Your Bags - The Lemon Dips 13. Alchemie Rhythmique - Pierre Sciortino (mis-credited actually Patrice Sciortino !!) 14. Travelling Man - The Lemon Dips 15.
