Another from my personal collection! This is the original (mono) pressing! These earliest UK mono pressings can not be beaten for the best audio quality than any other format out there in my opinion. Please note, This album is listed for its rarety rather than for its condition and is graded overall as excellent in my personal opinion. There is some light surface marks/scratches/scuffs noted on the vinyl and there are some isolated static type ticks/background crackle/pops heard in quieter places but over all this is a very playable and extremely enjoyable record in my opinion. I have carefully played the vinyl through prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge. The audio is generally clear and vibrant throughout, Barely a handful of spider traces on the Textured Blue Horizon 1st issued labels which are very clean. This is complete with the original poly lined record sleeve and 1st issued laminated front only E.J.Day & Co cover graded at excellent and in general clean and straight with no names written and no splits or tears. Very rare original (mono) the earliest and most sought after!

Fleetwood Mac is the self-titled debut album by the rock group Fleetwood Mac, released in 1968 (see 1968 in music).
It is a far cry from the crystalline rock that is found on their later albums, Fleetwood Mac (1975) and Rumours (1977). This album is British blues with flourishes of psychedelic rock. The vocals are shared between Peter Green and second guitarist Jeremy Spencer!
- "My Heart Beat Like a Hammer" (Jeremy Spencer) – 3:31
- "Merry-Go-Round" (Green) – 4:19
- "Long Grey Mare" (Green) – 2:12
- "Hellhound on My Trail" (Johnson) – 2:04
- "Shake Your Moneymaker" (Elmore James) – 3:11
- "Looking for Somebody" (Green) - 2:49
- "No Place to Go" (Howlin' Wolf) - 3:20
- "My Baby's Good to Me" (Spencer) – 2:49
- "I Loved Another Woman" (Green) – 2:54
- "Cold Black Night" (Spencer) – 3:15
- "The World Keep On Turning" (Green) – 2:27
- "Got to Move" (E. James, Sehorn) – 3:18
\
- Peter Green – vocals, guitar, harmonica
- Jeremy Spencer – vocals, slide guitar, piano
- John McVie – bass
- Mick Fleetwood – drums
- Bob Brunning – bass on "Long Grey Mare"
Fleetwood Mac are a British rock band formed in 1967 which have experienced a high turnover of personnel and varied levels of success. From the band's inception through to the end of 1974, no incarnation of Fleetwood Mac lasted as long as two years!!.
The only member present in the band from the very beginning is its namesake drummer Mick Fleetwood. Despite band founder Peter Green naming the group combining his two former bandmates' surnames (from John Mayall's Bluesbreakers - it was actually the title Green had given to a demo recording they had recorded while in Mayall's band), bassist John McVie did not play on their first single nor at their first concerts.
Keyboardist Christine McVie has, to date, appeared on all but two albums, either as a member or as a session musician. She also supplied the artwork for the album Kiln House!!.
The two most successful periods for the band were during the late 1960s British blues boom, when they were led by guitarist Peter Green, and from 1975 to 1987, with more pop-orientation, featuring Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
The band enjoyed more modest success in the intervening period between 1971 and 1974, with the line-up including Bob Welch, and also during the 1990s which saw more personnel changes before the return of Nicks and Buckingham in 1997, and more recently, the departure of Christine McVie!!

Side 2 ''7-63200 B1'' (Earliest 1st Mono Matrix)
The Vinyl
On initial inspection the vinyl looks awesome retaining its original mirror like sheen. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping! ! Thicker and chunky slab of vinyl only found on 1st pressings like this! Note: Angled in very strong light can possibly be seen very few and minor blemishes \scuff\scratches. Note These do cause isolated static type interference in the form of isolated ticks/pops/crackle heard in some quieter places. Importantly there is no loud constant clicks or pops and certainly no skips or jumps. Also to note there is no distortion or sighns that this has been over played at all!
The Audio Quality
I have very carefully played this vinyl two times at very loud volume on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge! The audio is trully stunning, cristal clear and very vibrant throughout! Without any distortion I heard some isolated background interference in some places in the form of static type ticks/pops and light background crackle in some places. Please note that I play these vinyls at very loud volume. There was nothing too bad in my opinion that spoilt the overall enjoyment of this awesome album! The audio is graded at excellent in my opinion. Very playable and enjoyable. 49 years old! I would class myself as highly critical when it comes dpown to the audio quality, Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normaly get it right!!
Summary: The vinyl plays through without skips or jumps and no distortion. There is background crackle/ticks/pops in some places and in between some tracks.
Please note I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static ticks\crackle/pops (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 49 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 49 year old system! Grade at excellent inmy opinion, (with light interference as noted above)
Please note! This album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 45 years! A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static crackle\ticks. A constant clean before each play is recomended! This will reduce any static and enhance the audio quality!

The Labels
These are the original (Textured) Blue Horizon labels in superbe condition (see photos) ''Made in England'' is featured (only UK Press) Any spidering can just barely be seen angled to the light only. There is little if (no) spindle ware the hole is perfectly round!
The Record Sleeve
This is plain white poly lined sleeve without splits or tares! Light creasing/browning with age. This is the original and the record is now always stored separately from the sleeve and cover!
The Cover
This is the original 1st issue E.Day & Co printed laminated front cover! Please note, the cover carries the correct mono catalogue number at the spine and at the rear and not the later stereo catalogue number which has an 's' prefix for stereo in the cat no. This cover is generally clean and straight. The laminate is super glossy. Note: There is creases in the laminate to mention top left hand corner and a couple of thumb type creases, and not through the cover. There is (no) splits or tares and the rear is very very clean without the usual rubbing or ringware! There are no nasty creases at the rear. This cover is graded at excellentin my opinion !
