This is a UK 1st Press of ‘Firepoint.' This press is complete with the earliest Music Man label and laminated sleeve. This folk blues LP includes Mike Cooper, Bob Hall, Sam Mitchell, Tom Robinson, Duffy Power, Little Brother Dave and Gerald Moore.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves or obvious wear at all, just a couple very light wispy marks on both sides. The labels are completely clean. The black is bold, the white is bright and the text is sharp. There is no spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There are moments of very light noise but there is still superb clarity and separation.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The white is crisp and bright, the black is bold, the laminate has a sensational gloss and the whole sleeve is completely flat. There is just a little opening edge wear and the the slightest discolouration on the spine. The white is still extremely bright, the text is sharp and the pictures are perfect. The whole sleeve is solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with sharp text.
