Released in 1968 on the first issue red POLYDOR label, I am offering here this rare first UK MONO pressing of this classic debut album from FAIRPORT CONVENTION which is simply titled "FAIRPORT CONVENTION". The vinyl is in displaying lots of scuffs and wear in good condition with reasonably clean labels and plays with mostly very good to excellent audio with no sticks or skips etc but there was a handful of pops. NOT SUITABLE FOR A FUSSY COLLECTOR.
The album comes with its original Ernest J Day fully laminated single sleeve which is in reasonably clean good condition with no stickers or unwanted writings etc but shows a two inch split on the spine and shows some creasing and general wear.
This comes complete with its generic white inner sleeve which is clean with no splits, stickers or unwanted writing etc.
THIS ALBUM WAS PLAY TESTED ON A LINN AXIS THROUGH A MUSIC FIDELITY AMP.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
