Description
For sale is one of the Rare Legendary Decca's from 1958:
Ernest Ansermet conducts Rimsky-Korsakov Orchestral Pieces, SXL 2221. The label is an ED1, with the "Original Recording by" in the 10 o'clock direction, "Made in England" in the 6th o'clock direction, and deep groove on the label. All of the first issues of the SXL 2*** number have this label.
Record: NM-, a few very light scuffs. I have played this record a few times and it sounds superb. Very light crackle/tape hiss during quiet parts.
Sleeve: NM-, some wear on the corners, no seam splits, nice fold back cover with good gloss from laminate. A superb example.
Inner Sleeve: Appears close to Mint.
A great opportunity to own this rare record.
I play my records on a Music Hall MMF 7.1 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue Diamond Stylus.
SHIPPING: All records are shipped outside their sleeves to prevent seam splits. They are shipped in a special corrugated box as seen in the picture.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask and I will respond as soon as possible.
Thank you.
