Erich KLEIBER nozze di Figaro MOZART opera DECCA STEREO
early stereo DECCA issue in very rare white PVC packing
Unique stereo edition of Kleiber’s Figaro packaged in a white PVC pocket,
which failed to attract many buyers and is therefore very rare. This is from the colection of a music critic.
UK, Decca SXL2087-2090. grooved, “original recording by”, original decca innersleeves,
including the booklet (with picture that appeared later on stereo edition). Promo stickers on the labels on one side of each disc.
This one is in EXCELLENT condition: the pocket is in very nice VG++ condition and has hardly any defects.
It shows only light signs of age and use. The only, minor defect is that the inside transparant pockets
are spilt 7 cm and 5 cm respectively on the upper sides. There is a 2cm tear in the right inside pocket (see scan)
The LPs are in VG+++ to NM, very seldomly played. There are two 1 cm surface marks,
which are very superficial and inaudible.
The booklet is in VG++ condition.
