Description
England's Newest Hit Makers THE ROLLING STONES - Rare Vinyl Copy. Original VERY FIRST LONDON PRESS MONO - ROLLING STONES 1964 'Self Titled' LP, London LL-3375. This is their very first LP, and this is the pressing that has the FFRR RED labels which state "Full Frequency Range Recording". This is the very 1st of the first London pressings and by far the hardest to find. Specific Red Label No. 01E(i) which has the side one "number" off center below the word "SIDE" (see photos) Cover is No. MC1. Matrix Printed on dead wax is: XARL-6291-1A /XARL-6292-1A.
This record also includes the "Free Full Color Photo of the Rolling Stones on the inside"! Comes with what appears to be the original inner sleeve.
The cover is in great condition, very very mild wear on the corner edges. No circular scuffs on either face from the record edge inside. Only two very small blemishes on the lower left front face and bottom edge, with small two small 1/2" x 1/2" cellophane tape residue blemishes (see photos). Part of the word "London" is flecked from the spine. White back face is clean with no writing, yellowing, or mottling. The originally included free photo is flat, wrinkle free with No pin holes in the corners (there are two celophane tape blemishes on the back).
The vinyl is flat and shows very little wear. I tracked it with a medium weight stylus and found a very clean run with minimum crackle and no skips. Unofficially I would say both cover and vinyl would be graded by an expert to be in Very Good to Near Excellent condition, however I am not a certified expert so am selling as is. Will ship insured USPS priority.
