Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL U.K HMV 1957 release of the RARE Extended Play (E,P) Good Rockin Tonight by Elvis Presley.
This is The King's RAREST U.K E.P and would be a great addition to any collection!!!
The picture sleeve is in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD- condition and has NO MAJOR SPLITS , TEARS and NO WRITING!!! (see photos)
There are a few signs of wear on the side opener, a few blister/bubble / crackling marks on the laminate and some corner wear and age discolouration a few small pieces of the front pieces missing and a small rip to the side opener but nothing too drastic!(see photos)
There is also a name written lightly on the rear of the sleeve.
The sleeve is also stored in a poly protective sleeve with the record in a separate paper sleeve to prevent any further wear to this great rarity!!!
The record itself is also in reasonable condition!.
The vinyl has plenty of natural sheen and the Green HMV labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!
The original 4 pronged centre is Intact ( a lot of these have been dinked out to make the record suitable for a jukebox)
There are quite a few marks/scratches, but nothing too deep!
This visually grades as VERY GOOD.
The matrix numbers are 7TAV 415-IN and 7TAV 416-IN.
With a GREAT LOW START you are sure to get an affordable bargain!
This would make a SUPERB collection filler until that MINT £200+ copy comes along!!
