PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE original CP 407 first pressing from 1959 on Colpix gold deep groove label with red logo and black "liberty statue" in glorious mono pressed on BLUE TRANSLUCENT VINYL with Columbia Pictures credit below the logo (NOT in the lower label rim text)!!! LP is VG with a small scratch at the end of Theme From "Middle Of The Night" and the start of Can't Get Out Of This Mood that can be lightly felt. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful. Even has the original $3.98 Polk Brothers (R.I.P.) price label on the cellophane in the top right hand corner on the front cover. THAT'S provenance. Incredibly rare, there isn't even a single copy for sale on Discogs. I have had well over 15 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 45 years of collecting and selling and this is the first blue vinyl pressing I have ever seen. Don't sleep jazz collectors.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
