Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Volume 2 released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 993 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with minimal visible marks/scratches and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.( looks hardly played)
This is the RARE issue WITHOUT Horizontal Silver Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $35-40 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD) for the sleeve alone!!!
The front of the sleeve is in nice condition for the age , however there is some writing on the rear and partial seam splits along the top and bottom. (see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £95+ copy comes along or if you have a better sleeve then this is the ideal vinyl to upgrade with.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70 (£52+ approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
