Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Love Me Tender released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4006 dog on top)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition with some light visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH Horizontal Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $55 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 57 years old and is in nice visual condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS ,TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is some scuff marks/ light ringwear and staining/browning on the rear.(see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £85+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $85(£55+approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £58+.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
