I am disposing of my collection of '50s and '60s records starting with the two rarest Elvis LPs. Elvis Presley No 2 is in pretty good condition for its age, with a couple of tears on the front and one on the rear at the right side. The right edge is a bit rough, but nothing too serious. These faults can be seen on the photos. The record itself is in good condition, with only light surface scuffing, no jumps or distortion. All tracks play perfectly, with only faint rustling on silent and quiet tracks. The label is good, only slight wear around the hole. This record has only been played a dozen or so times since I bought new in 1957/58.  I am including Elvis Rock 'n' Roll, the original issue of his first LP, in this sale since its condition is not great, but it should still be of interest to serious collectors. The sleeve is fairly rough all round, with an area about 3" x 2" missing front and rear. The record itself plays OK on all tracks except Track 3, side 1, which jumps badly till half way through, due to surface damage inflicted by a borrower. Otherwise not too bad for its age, with noticeable but not too intrusive crackling throughout. Label is good, just slight surface wear around the hole. If you need any further details, please ask.
