Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7035 ) is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition .
The labels have NO WRITING as such but there is a name sticker taped on and a small numbered sticker on one side. (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $75 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 63 years old and is in nice condition for the age (see photos)
There are NO SPLITS or WRITING!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear / creases and a small tear ( which looks like it has been repaired on the t and r of Treat Me Nice. ( see photos)
This is a great affordable collection filler until that MINT $130 record and sleeve comes along!
Overall this was valued at about $90 (£70) back in 2016 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £72.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!
This, as with ALL of my picture sleeve releases comes housed in a separate paper sleeve containing the record and a protective poly sleeve to help try and prevent ny further future wear!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
