Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1968 single Guitar Man / High Heel Sneakersreleased in the USA.
The record itself (47-9115 )is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are a few marks/scratches (nothing too deep or drastic though)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $40 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.
There are NO SPLITS, TEARS or WRITING!
The things that stop this from grading higher is some slight damage at the bottom on one side and light ringwear(see photos)
The original price shop sticker/seal is also still present.(see photos)
This sleeve is a GREAT collection filler of this variation until that mint rarer sleeve comes along!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2ND ISSUED AND RARER SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " Elvis' Gold Records (rather than the alternative sleeve stating "COMING SOON")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $50(£33 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £35.
