Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1968 single Guitar Man / High Heel Sneakers released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9425)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(the vinyl looks hardly played!)
The labels are quite bright, however grade lower due to the writing on both sides(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $30-35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone.
This is the 2nd and RARER issued sleeve advetizing "ASK FOR" Elvis' Gold Records Volume 4 (rather than 1st issue "COMING SOON")
There are NO SPLITS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases and a few small rips to the top opener.(see photos)
This also comes with an original jukebox slip.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $50-55(£36 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £40.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
