Description
Elvis Presley First Album First Press RCA Victor LPM 1254 Mono 1956 Pressing. This is the first press of Elvis Presley's first RCA album. It has the benchmarks needed: "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity, Camden N J in rim text, Elvis Presley small print on the spindle hole.
and green and pink logo. Record stampings are: G2 PP 1282-3S and G2 PP 1283- 1S.
Condition: Record- I would rate the record VG+ overall. It has a very strong high gloss. It plays very clean. The vinyl itself has a few slight imperfections, but nothing major. The main detraction is around the spindle Hole. It shows marks on both sides and has a little bit of black loss around the hole on both sides.
Sleeve- I don't know how to give the sleeve a single rating. If you look at it for a quick take, it is probably a VG+. Color and seams are quite good. However, close examination shows that the cover has been slightly trimmed on the right or open side. The record was this way when I obtained it. You see this on baseball cards or something like that , but I am not sure why it would be trimmed like this unless it had some significant, slight Edge damage. I guess it could have been opened this way also. In any case, please note that and take that into consideration. Please check the photos closely for additional information and condition details.
