ELVIS PRESLEY - “FOR THE HEART / HURT” (PB-10601), A 1976 DOUBLE-HIT SINGLE. RARE SECOND PRESSING WITH BLACK LABELS! RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with nice, glossy surfaces! However, there are some very light surface scuffs as well as a couple of as-made marks noticed on the "For The Heart" side. None of these should have any effect on the audible performance! This Indianapolis pressing should play great! This is a RARE, second pressing with the "new" Black Labels. These were pressed during the summer of 1976. The labels on this record are beautiful, NM! This double-hit single was originally released in March of 1976 on the RCA Victor Tan label. It is quite evident that Elvis preferred "Hurt" over "For The Heart" as he performed it frequently during his live performances up until the end. Jerry Osborne assigns a Near Mint value of $100 on this item in his "Presleyana VIII" (2017). RCA COMPANY SLEEVE: VG++ (EXC) with just a few minor wrinkles. There were never any price stickers, writing, tears or staple holes on this sleeve.
